It's too late to apologize, it's too laaaaaate.

In my effort to make myself feel better about having to drive a minivan it occurred to me that in my last post I may have come off as a little cocky. And that's definitely not me - I'm too perfect for that. (... get it?... too perfect.... ......) So, in an effort to gain your support once again, I have concocted a list of vehicles that are indeed better than ours. 1) Mercedes - pretty much anything take your pick. 2) De Tomas Pantera 3) A G6 is pretty fly. 4) Porsche. Porsche. Porsche. 5) ANYTHING that's not a minivan and some minivans. In all seriousness, the only way we were able to get the van is because God is good. He continues to meet our needs at every turn and for that we are thankful.

Every mothers day proves - I'm kind of a big deal.

And it's true, if I was you, I'd be jealous of me. In my swagger wagon. Well, okay, I don't know about jealous - I mean, it is a minivan. BUT, check out those rear windows that roll down!! Rambo's ride is officially upscale. Now, we'll actually be able to go places as a family. Except, we still really can't go anywhere because of all the limitations of Rambos portable stuff, but we will be cruising to doctors appointments in style.  (And don't tell him I told you, but Ben doesn't even mind it that much. In fact, I dare say, he actually likes it.) Mothers day came and went as did Emma's 4th birthday. 4. Crazy. We are all still very much adjusting. Still waiting for a nurse. Still very tired. But Rambo was kind enough to let some of the attention be off him and on his big sister for an evening. And she took full advantage. (I don't know where she learned that, but it is pretty cute.) She had a great birthday party. She keeps growing and

Just an onslaught of some random pictures since we've been home. He's seems to be happy :) Except between the hours of 5pm and 10pm. Then he's a monster. But he's still so sweet :) Israel loves his little brother :) I think he was singing him "Row row row your boat". According to Israel "It's pretty much his favorite song." Awww!!! Awwwww!! again. Amanda out. There is work to be done!

Poet and didn't know it

Prepare to be amazed. What you are about to read could quite possibly be one of the most defining moments in your life. Ode to Rebecca - head of Clinical Customer Service PICU Rebecca you are really sweet. You give me jolly rancher treats. The PICU was your stomping grounds But you braved the NICU on your rounds. Coffee, water, a rocking chair, If you could get it, it was there. (Except, of course, our vacation pack. Yes, we are still waiting on that.) We'd sit and while away the time. You like the Ravens - what a crime! Rambo loves you, he tells me each day. A broken heart he sends your way. You were something special we always knew. And proof - a coffee card on cue!  You gave us Vince Lombardi's trophy Now we give you Rambo's Remedy To you and yours we bid adieu. Goodbye First Big, Goodbye PICU. I know what you're thinking: "How does she do it?" It's a gift really.
