Big news.

Are you ready for this???????? Theodore knows where my nose is! Okay, I may have pulled you in a little with the "Big news" title... I'm excited anyway :) If I ask him where mama's nose is he touches it. And not just a whole handed palm touch but a purposeful one finger touch.  Woot! Update on Theodore's skills: Peek-a-boo High five Noses Clapping Rolling his hands like in pat a cake Pushing a ball and chasing after it Petting Idaho Sitting upright on his knees without holding onto anything Feeding someone with a spoon Understanding "no" I'm sure I'm forgetting a few but every single one makes me proud. He just keeps on going :)

I mean, really.

If you follow me on facebook and/or instagram then  this will be a  repeat. But if you don't then let me just show you what you are missing out on.  Is he not the cutest thing ever? I mean, really, who can stand it? I think if he entered any baby contest, save for healthiest kid alive, then he would clearly win.  Our own little hipster..... Follow me on instagram: @tooguccicute

I pick things up.

I told you I was back.  You're welcome. My brain is feeling a little scattered today. Not in a bad way it's just all over the place so this post will probably reflect that slightly. There's a lot of non important things rolling around up there. For starters:    HOW CUTE IS HE???? That's his new thing. Dump stuff out and put the container on your head. Too funny. You'll see in the second photo that he is wearing shoes and socks and that's because he got the braces for his feet. It's some serious foot wear, especially for these hot summer days, but he really doesn't seem to mind. I'm not too sure why I got to choose from several patterns what the braces looked like because they are totally covered, but whatever. We got him camo anyway.  Okay, onto the next subject. Guess what kept me up for like an hour in the middle of the night a few nights ago. The Bay Bridge. Yes this was caused by the car that went over just the other da

I'm ba-ack.

I said last time I have been one thing and one thing only this past month: L A Z Y Well, maybe that's not entirely true. I've been lazy towards anything that hasn't been purely required or purely fun. For example, all of the kids school books have been researched, ordered, and received. And that is NEVER fun. At least not for me. Talk about panic attacks. And other than maintaining everyday life that's probably the only thing purely required that I have done.  Our purely fun list has been much longer; a few projects that I had sitting around have been worked on with much progress, we've had many beach or pool days with the kids, I started running in the mornings again, sleep overs - sleep overs- sleep overs. And the kids- they are swimming under water!!! This is a huge deal. Our poor kids have not been able to be around water much in the last few years, obviously, so they've had a slight fear of it. Which only crushed their father who is at

Head down!!

I think that the true colors of a parent come out when their kids are sick. We have 2 1/2 sick kids. In unrelated news, I don't think I'm meant to be a parent.  We must have caught the back end (not literally) of a stomach bug. And the poor kids are paying for it. Let me take you back a day so you can fully appreciate our happenings as of late. Two days ago I notice that Theodore's left leg is slightly swollen. Probably not noticeable to anyone else but it caught my attention. That same day he suddenly gets flush, like really really flush and hot so we give him ibuprofen and put him in bed, where he sleeps. Soundly. Then yesterday I notice that not only is his left leg still swollen but it has increased and now his left arm is also swollen significantly. On top of that, he had another incident where he suddenly turned super red all over and felt hot. So I took his temp, but it was normal. And on top of that, not only is his left arm swollen but it is intermittently
