Caution to the wind

I've decided to be more bold . We're talking walk-around-in-the-streets-in-a-spongebob-character bold . Write-letters-stick-them-in-the-mail-and-THEN-think-about-it bold . Plan-to-world-dominate(or-at-least-figure-out-the-krabby-patty-recipe-at-any-cost) bold . Answer-before-being-asked kind of bold .   Shoot-first-ask-questions-later bold. Okay..... maybe not THAT bold. But you may want to disregard any letters you receive in the mail.

First things first.

Currently the kids are making me breakfast on the couch (a variation of breakfast in bed) which consists of oatmeal, granola, coffee, and KoolAid Jammers. They slept in a bit and that is birthday present enough for me. Especially when it is immediately followed by their rendition of 'Happy Birthday'. They have already told me that I will get their special spa treatment today and if it's anything like last time it will involve everything from a foot massage in a Morton salt foot bath to getting my teeth flossed. This is the real deal, people.  I love my kids. Any second I will be ordered to go sit on the couch, turn on the tv, and put my feet up so I better scoot.  Happy birthday to me!

I SHOULD be....

I bet you'll never guess that she's excited. It's because we SHOULD be doing school work but the oldest is still asleep. And how can I say no to THAT? It's pretty ridiculous, but she makes me laugh so she wins.  I can't even tell you how much these girls are like their dad. But here is the proof so I probably don't have to say anything. Pray for me. :) Now onto Rambo, who I don't have any decent pictures of because he never stops moving. NEVER. STOPS. MOVING. He is doing great! Woot! He fought through last weeks fevers and sickness like a champ. (So did all the kids, actually. I seriously couldn't ask for better kids.) He is doing far better this week and my hopes are that he'll stay that way. We went to a cardiology appointment yesterday. (Thanks to my friend Ashley we were actually able to make this one! And we tore the place down! Or up.. or whatever the saying is.....) Rambo had an EKG and an echo and we were given the good new...

Bound and determined.

A few things Rambo is bound and determined to do: 1)  Be his brothers best friend. 2) Sit up on his own. 3)  Have the chubbiest cheeks ever. 4) Be as cute as humanly possible. 5) Get his sisters nose. 6) Figure out what in the world Ruth is doing to his hand. A few things I am bound and determined to do: 1) Make good, edible  homemade bread. 2) Enjoy it.  As you can see we are both well on our way to accomplishing the aforementioned. I'm also determined to treat weekends as weekends as long as my house isn't disastrous - it can look like a tropical storm ran through it but hurricane is where I draw the line and give into chores once again. Theodore also still appears be determined to get back into the hospital. We thought he was happy at home as there were no hospital attempts in the past few months. This past week proved us wrong. But we're onto him. We've figured out his tricks. No hospital for you, littl...

There is no time for play, there is no time for fun, there is no time for games, there is work to be done!

Just an onslaught of some random pictures since we've been home. He's seems to be happy :) Except between the hours of 5pm and 10pm. Then he's a monster. But he's still so sweet :) Israel loves his little brother :) I think he was singing him "Row row row your boat". According to Israel "It's pretty much his favorite song." Awww!!! Awwwww!! again. Amanda out. There is work to be done!

THE. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

Don't lie. I bet half of you are expecting pictures of cats or something else equally as soft and cuddly. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm going to inundate you with pictures of Rambo. I must say, he is pretty cuddly.  And of course, I have to add my other 3 cutest things: Now, seriously, who needs cats?? Thank you. That is all.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand Break!

Israel 6, Ruth 5, Emma 3 I had to share the rest of my wonderful children who have been completely amazing throughout this whole thing. They love Theodore so much and it's neat to watch how they care about him. Fire and Ice. "I hope the hospital has what Theodore needs." Sweet but sneaky.    "How's Theado going?" "I hope he gets to come home to his brotha and sista and otha sista soon." Only the best big brother in the world. "Mom, will Theodore be home soon so we can be all together as a family?" "There was a family had a babe and Rambo was his name-o. R  - A - M - B - O" I love my kiddos. And I'm so thankful to everyone who helped take care of them for 9 long weeks while Ben was off work so we could be with Theodore. Israel, Ruth and Emma you are awesome!!  (Don't be fooled by their pictures. The captions are much more accurate.)
